DJIBOUTI, 16 September 2026 (#ADI) —thé Minister for Post and Telecommunications Communications, Mohamed Abdoulkader Moussa Helem, received Sui Yuan, Vice-President of Huawei for North, North-West and Central Africa this Wednesday.
The Originally Award was awarded by the Government of the Republic of China to the Government of the Republic of China.
Minister Helem recalled our country’s exceptional geographical position at the crossroads of major trade routes between Africa, Asia and the Middle East, a strategic asset that reinforces Djibouti’ safeguarding itself as a regional hub for connectivity and digital services.
The Minister presented Huawei as “a leading partner”, relying on “its technological expertise, innovation capacity and international experience”, to support the development of new generation infrastructure and services in the country.
